Sena creates geometric abstract lenticular colourful art uniquely using hand cut felt fabric. His designs are influenced by nature’s colours, structure and architecture, water and reflections.
A unique characteristic of Sena’s felt artwork is the lenticular effect. With the use of carefully cut and inserted reflective paper the art changes when viewed from different angles or as you move from left to right. Many of Sena’s geometric designs can be hung at 90 or 180 degrees to vary how the art is seen and enjoyed.
Sena’s work channels the influence of many post-war artists, with inspiration taken from the works of the late Carlos Cruz-Diez, Victor Vasarely and Bridget Riley to name a few.
