I live in Brentford and work at Johnsons Island
Studios. Over the past 5 years the changes in this area have been immense, with
buildings coming down and new ones going up at a pace hard to keep up with.
Being in the middle of this maelstrom has inspired my latest series of works -
'A Moment in Time', tracking the progress of this corner of the town as it
changes. New views come and go, and the memory of these, and of what used to be
there, fade incredibly quickly, Therefore, these painted snapshots are a celebration
of these short moments in the visual history of the area.
