Karina Dilan is a contemporary painter and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the emotional language of colour, movement and sensory experience.

Born in Moscow and currently based in Belgrade, Karina combines intuition with expressive mark-making to create luminous, layered compositions that bridge abstraction and poetic figuration. Working in acrylic, mixed media, digital graphics and experimental techniques, her art invites viewers into immersive visual spaces that evoke memory, inner strength and the beauty of human feeling.

Karina’s work has attracted international attention through a growing number of exhibitions and curated projects. In 2025, she participated in the Women in Art Biennale in London - a major international showcase celebrating the creativity and voice of women artists. She also exhibited in the “COLOR” international exhibition at the CICA Museum (Czong Institute for Contemporary Art) in South Korea, bringing together artists from around the world to explore the expressive and transformative dimensions of colour. Earlier in 2025, Karina’s work was featured in the Belgrade Biennale, a multi-venue international exhibition in Serbia that presented seven of her pieces across prominent gallery spaces.

Her recent international presence also includes group exhibitions in Venice, Milan, New York, and beyond, as well as presentations in online and thematic shows exploring abstraction, body language and sensory communication. These opportunities have expanded her artistic reach and enriched her dialogue with global audiences.

At The Hyde Gallery, we are delighted to present Karina Dilan as part of our programme celebrating contemporary women artists. Her work brings energy, depth and expressive freedom to the gallery, resonating with viewers who seek colour-driven, emotionally compelling art that connects on a deeply human level.

Karina’s paintings are more than aesthetic achievements - they are invitations into inner landscapes, reflections on shared experience, and celebrations of creative vision
