French born, educated in Paris and Britain, LAC’s first solo exhibition  as a self-taught mixed media artist took place in Mumbai, India, in 2003.

After 10 years in Asia, she came back to London.

Shuttling between countries and cultures, LAC gives herself the freedom to select materials from changing contexts, the result being a very distinctive style built on mixed media, layering techniques and a bold use of colour inherited from her Mediterranean childhood.

Since 2015, LAC has developed a consistent body of work inspired by her immediate environment, London, which is the embodiment of all the cities in permanent flux she lived in, visited or imagined. Her urban landscapes are created out of many memories rather than an exact depiction, expressing a very personal experience of the 21st century urban world.

Part of the Make Space Studios in SE1 since 2011, LAC has been involved in many group exhibitions in the UK. In 2022, she received the Chair’s Purchase Prize at the ING Discerning Eye exhibition at the Mall Galleries. In 2023, she was invited by Hampstead School of Art and the French Consulate in London for solo shows as well as being selected for the ING Discerning Eye exhibition and the Gemini Art Prize.

Her mixed media urban landscapes have met collectors’ approval and curators’ interest. LAC ‘s works is part of numerous private and galleries collections, in Britain, in Europe and internationally as far as Japan where she was an artist in residence (Kyoto) in April 2016.
