Informal Conversation: Women in Art: Celebrating the exhibition “Through Her Eyes”
Informal Conversation: Women in Art
Date: 11 March
Time: 2:00 pm
Location: The Hyde Gallery, 255 Chiswick High Road, W4 4PU
Join us at The Hyde Gallery for an informal conversation celebrating our third inaugural exhibition, “Through Her Eyes,” dedicated to the voices, perspectives, and creativity of women in art.
To mark the occasion, we invite you to an engaging and relaxed discussion bringing together artists and art lovers to reflect on the role of women in contemporary art, their inspirations, and the stories behind their work.
The conversation will feature Aleksandra Imaikina, art historian and founder of Firuzzi Art & Travel, alongside Lyudmila Hyde, founder of The Hyde Gallery, and participating gallery artists. Together they will explore the significance of women’s perspectives in art today and the importance of supporting female artistic voices.
Aleksandra Imaikina is an art historian, founder of Firuzzi Art & Travel, and curator of bespoke art journeys. A graduate of St Petersburg State University, Bard College, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, she brings together an academic perspective on art with the practice of cultural entrepreneurship. At the centre of her work is art as a way of understanding places, histories, and ourselves more deeply.
We warmly invite you to join us for an inspiring afternoon celebrating the exhibition and the enduring presence of women in art.
